egg shells for calcium can someone please tell me how do i make the egg shells for calcium and how much of it do i give a 6 lb yorkie thanks |
It depends on the amount of food you make in the recipe...It's really important to get the amount of calcium right, so I highly recommend that you get a book like Dr. Pitcairn's...I bought my copy on amazon.com for only $12.00 1 tsp of eggshells = 1800mg of calcium |

As Yorkieluv said, it really depends on how much food you feed. Also, you need to take in the consideration of how much you feed how often, what you're feeding, and the size of your dog. I also recommend the book by Dr. Pitcairn-it will tell you how much calcium to put in each recipe, as well as how to make the eggshell calcium powder. I personally don't use this-I buy bone meal and mix that into Dr. Pitcairn's "healthy powder" and follow his recipes. |
I'm not sure, but it sounds like that books the way to go. You might be able to get it at your local library. |
