Teeth not in as they should be.
 
I do not know if I am in the right place for this question, but someone can advise me.

My baby is 11 weeks old and her teeth are still not in completely, they have bearly broken the gum, especially the ones on the bottom, is this normal with Yorkies or is there something wrong with my new baby, the others in the litter teeth are completely out, she eats dry puppy chow with no problem, her back teeth seems to be fine. This is my aunts Yorkie first litter, she owns both father and mother. I plan to take her home on the Sept. 9 to NY and vets are very expensive, if something needs to be done, I want to do it while I'm here.

Please let me know what I need to do, will the changing of teeth be a problem, ETC?

Are these baby teeth or adult teeth coming in? Baby teeth should already be in by 11 weeks..I think they're usually pretty much in by 6-7 weeks old. Adult teeth normally start coming in between 4-7 months.

They are baby teeth, the puppy is 11 weeks old, the other litter mates teeth are fine.

I think for my peace of mind I'd take the baby in to the vet for a professional opinion.

Mugzy's top canines didn't come in till he was about 7 months old!!!! They weren't even poking thru when he got fixed at 6 months, and I asked the vet if we should pull the babies at the same time as the neutering, but she said, no, not till the big ones come in. As a matter of fact, now they're in, and we have to go next week to get his baby's pulled b/c the groomer said they should come out before they cause problems.

I took her to the Vet here and he doesn't seem concerned, I might be worried about nothing but her other litter mates all have there teeth completely grown out. Just really wanted to know if I should be concerned about this.

You should just watch them...you will know more than the vet. My vet told me that Teddi's teeth were probably her adult teeth when I got her fixed 6 months ago even though I knew they were her baby teeth. She has finally started getting her adult teeth and now she has 2 of a bunch of them. I took her back to the vet and she said that we will probably have to pull the baby teeth in a month or so when she is 1 year.
