That's it..I've decided i"m trying some homecooking for Boston with all of trouble he's had. Why not right? I mean if he has a sensitive stomach shouldn't home cooking hellp?

Keep us posted! I've been wanting to homecook for Teddy, but I'm never sure what supplements to add etc. I need to find a good book on the subject. Good Luck with your babies; I'm sure they will do great :)

That's exactly why I started! Kalani brought giardia into our home and after all the meds they were on they developed very sensitive tummies:( I couldn't stand the diarrhea anymore and decided to cook for them myself.

Home cooking should pay off for you. I only do it once in a while just because I'm to lazy to do it everyday.

My only concern is that I see runny stool from Zoey from the chicken and rice...will that go away once I continue on the homecooking or should i be mixing it with her dog food for awhile to ease her into it?

COMPLETELY normal! her body is cleaning out all the crap from the dog food and is adjusting to the new food... this might take a few days... she might also be a bit more tired that usual which is also normal. when she is used to her new good food she will probably poop less aswell

Okay thanks. I was starting to feel like, great now Zoey's runny too? She only poops like two times a day anyway but Boston goes a lot more so hopefully that will change. Why would they be more tired?

it is part of their body just adjusting.. i read it in the Pitcairn book i was telling you about. Their bodies are cleaning things out and that can take a toll especially when they are so tiny. About two weeks into it Layla was very sleepy for about 3-4 days.. then right back to normal. i would have worried had i not read in the book that it was completely normal.
