Oh I So Know What You Are Going Through - Harvey Is Just The Same, He Has Me So Worried. He Would Only Eat Ceaser Refined, And A Little Dried Kibble (and I Mean A Little - 4 Pellets). He Started To Refuse The Ceaser And For This Past Week I Have Given Him Chicken Breast. He Will Eat That But Not Until About 7-8pm. I Tried Him With Some Porridge Oats This Morning And He Loved It. Oh Well Must Keep On Trying With Him. I Worry As He Is Only Little 3.5 Lb And Is 16 Months Old - He Cant Afford To Skip Meals...... Good Luck |
i tried chicken to day and .. really all i can get her to eat are cheese slices ... and some chicken .. |
I don't think pork is good for them..... Wheat usually gives them allergies (start itching & sneezing) ceaser dog food (Wet one) is like McDonalds for dogs. It's tough when they are picky. I have a picky one too, but fortunately, she eats her chicken & lean ground beef meals. |
picky eater Tricksi is almost a year old and so picky. I have put her on Pedigree Little Champion, mixed with Purina One dry healthy formula, mix it and microwave for 12 seconds, she loves it. I also give her cottage cheese with a fruit mixed in. |
geeze .. she still wont eat .. only ceasers .. |
I'm glad mine just gobble up their kibble. I give them Nutro Natural Balance. |
My Munchkin is the same, she used to love RC kibble. Then all of a sudden, she didn't like it anymore. I tried to switch her to Canidae, but she still won't eat it unless it has Cesars. But she'll just like it off the kibble. :( I'll try some of the homemade recipes on her and mix it in with her kibble. :) I tried to feed her before with something homemade, but the beef was uncooked.. she devoured it, but it gave her allergies. so i'll try something homemade but cooked this time. :) |
I am glad I don't have any picky eaters. Mine love there Solid Gold!:) |

Edgar the yorkie will eat ANYTHING!! Ganja is more particular. i have read that they will eat when they are hungry. maybe you should try a schedule. if they don't eat it at that time, they don't get any until the next time. this way they learn that if it's there they need to eat. i didn't know ceasars was the equiv of McD's for dogs. i thought that was Ol'Roy...hehe |
Ceasars oh, Lordy girl! Ceasars is like crap!! There is so much junk in there you wouldn't feed it if you knew!! My mother's poodle almost died from eating the Little Champions since it was on that tainted/poison list when the recalls first happened. NutraBalance and some of these other brands mentioned have had recalls. Just read the ingredients on whatever you feed your baby. It should have NO CORN :thumbdown , NO WHEAT OR SOY :thumbdown , AND NO BY-PRODUCTS!!:thumbdown :thumbdown Find out where it is made too. China is where all the tainted foods have been traced. My girls were super picky eaters too. When all the recalls started happening, i did a LOT of research and tried everything that was natural on the market. They hated all of it until i found this LIfe's Abundance. They eat this kibble without a problem and i don't have to mix anything into it. They never get tired of it and the treats are all healthy too. Why would you feed your dog something you wouldn't eat yourself??? They depend on us to feed them the best, highest quality food! Their lives depend on it!! Click to watch a video that will help a LOT!! VIDEO Click to see a comparison of the top 10 brands: COMPARE DOG FOOD BRANDS I have free samples if you or anyone else wants to try it. Just PM me your name and address! Linda & PAK |
