Different foods! hey everyone! Lola has been doing very very very good potty training and I wanted to reward her with some healthy treats! can someone give me any suggestions... I saw yogurt and cottage cheese... :D |
I buy the Beef roll by Natural Balance and cut little pieces up for a reward. I also buy the "animal" crackers for dogs at the Petco Doggie Bar as a reward. They seem to like both and never tire of either.:) |
apple (peeled and cut into small pieces NO SEEDS), seedless watermelon, carrots... |
Yogurt drops, yorkie yummies, and Cafe Max iced cinnabones with yogurt icing!!  |
I use any of the following, as long as they are cut up small enough for them to eat easily and not choke: Baby carrots Frozen peas (they LOVE these) Cheerios Bananas Small bits of Cheese Whole Wheat Crackers Unsalted Rice Cakes Peaches (fresh) Pieces of leaf lettuce Whole Wheat Pasta-they LOVE to slurp up spaghetti noodles! |
Cheerios!! |
I have recently started giving ours little pieces of carrots and they LOVE them. They all jump up and down when I pull out the bag...it is the cutest thing!! We also give yogurt, cherrios, and bananas... |
Who woulda thunk That Izzy would like frozen peas?? Thanks for posting that one....I just tried it with Izz and boy did she scarf them up - now she's hanging around the freezer in hopes of getting more. :D |

Also should be organic and all fruit no skin or seeds as can be toxic. Make sure to use vegetable wash on fruit and vegetables as well to clean real well. |
if giving yogurt do goat yogurt as easiest for them to digest as most like mothers milk |

Also, we discovered by accident that Gizmo likes frozen blueberries. (We dropped one) I didn't give him any more, but wondered because you can't really skin a blueberry. Do you know? |
Bella and Diggy LOVE green peppers! I have yellow, purple and green on hand all the time from the garden and they absolutely LOVE them! |

I forgot to add in my posts that I do peel the peaches and apples, and of course bananas first-not because I thought it was toxic, but because I worry about them choking on it! |
