baby teeth fell out and no adult teeth yet.... i was playing with roman this morning and noticed on the bottom of this mouth he had 2 teeth missing! i never noticed them to be wiggley or anything, but their gone now lol. well my questions is should the adult teeth already be showing or do they still need some time to push through the gums? also is there any way to tell the difference between baby teeth and adult teeth?? |
1 Attachment(s) No need to worry here. Many pups will lose puppy teeth and it will take a few days for the adult teeth to start coming in. The adult teeth are larger and don't have the razor/needle feel to them. My Angel lost all her bottom puppy teeth without any adult teeth - she looked so funny (see attached photo).... |
aww she looks like shes very well trained. i can barely get my baby to open his mouth for 2 seconds let alone take pictures of his mouth lol. he lost 1 maybe 2 more on top today. i looked a little closer and his gums are light pink/white-ish in some spots so im guesing thats where the adult teeth are trying to push through. atleast maybe now it wont his as much when hes biting me when were playing! |
How old is your puppy? My Livi is 19 weeks (today) and I assume she will start to go through this as well. |
he'll be 5 months on 8/7. so i would imagine she'll start soon. never have found any of the teeth but my friend said that about 90% of the teeth r swallowed. except for her german shepherd, he spit them all out. he must not have liked the taste lol |
I noticed fresh blood on a Plush toy as i was playing with Buzz. I checked why and he looked just like the picture above. Im just wondering where the theeth are I would love to hold them as keep Sakes. |
This has happened to Tucker. It's weird because they say dogs most often swallow their teeth but Tucker has been teething like mad and we've found 6 of his teeth so far--4 just this week! PS I get a kick out of your posts because my last name is Roman...hence the Ro part of JRo! :D |
