Where's the beef need a little help :) We have been doing the yorkie finnicky eat stuff:D So we have tried all the good foods out there and have finely settled on artmas small bites for puppys. hes 10 month. Yes we have had lots of tummy problems in the passed. now after all the chicken and rice.(he wont eat it now) and trying all the caned food (he will not eat.) we have found he goes for a little gound beef. 10% fat is what is in it. I ground it in a pan. then drained a little water over it. smashed it up with my fingres put a tlbs. in with a 1/4 cup of dry artmas. the BIG ???? is that still to much FAT for him. And since , he is eating it, can I do this with out the risk of tummy stuff. Yes this will give him a loose stool till he get use to it. He also get 1/8 teaspoon missing link and the vet has him on metamusile.1/8/teas. As all of you , I need help with the eating thing. really want to stop the everyday run in with hand feeding. He likes beef. we tried lamb veal chicken duck ....... well you guys know all about this:p :p by the way he is 5.8lbs any in for helpful jg |
Maybe Lean ground beef would be better...What kind of tummy troubles has he had? |
is it lean.. The beef was 90% fat free. They thought he had pancretitas . but that was way off. His test are all normal. We think that the nurto puppy chow cause all his problems .You can see my other threads, poor baby was in the vet all the time with poops and bloody poops and throwing up blood. It has been a month to 7 weeks since we changed off that food now no problems.(but he doesnt like the new foods. we almost think it is lamb. but I think it has something to do with the recall. the beef is sirlon |
If he's doing fine on this ground beef, I see no reason to change it. They do sell 93% and I believe 97% fat free ground beef as well, if you want to try those. Good luck, and I'm so glad that your baby is doing better!! |
