suggestions for new puppy food? Hi Everyone, I am feeding my baby girl royal canin small puppy 33 dry food right now. But i recently saw at the dogfoodanalysis.com that it is pretty low quality food. The problem is that my baby Tumi only eats food that is small bite size which royal canin is. Does anyone know any other good quality brand that has small bite size food? |
My puppy was on the puppy Royal Canin also, but stopped eating it. I switched her to Natural Ultramix Puppy, which she loves. It's bite sized and even has pieces of dried fruit in it (which of course she picks out and eats first). Good luck on your food search! |
I was feeding Blue Buffalo dry food, but now homecook. It's easier, cheaper, and they like it more! We still supplement with some kibble from Blue Buffalo for breakfast-topped with cottage cheese and sometimes fruit. Blue Buffalo is holistic, human quality ingredients, and if you read their website, sounds like a great company! You can buy it at Petsmart-about $13 for a 5 lb. bag. www.bluebuff.com They will send you free samples if your pup wants to try some. Also, I know that many members feed Canidae, an all life stages food. That is one we might try one day. |
I feed Canidae to both of mine and they love it. |
I feed Canidae and Artemis. They are both great foods. Artemis is harder to find though. |
We feed Canidae and supplement with Missing Link Plus. |
We feed all 4 of our Yorkies Canidae All life Stages Lamb & Rice Formula. Ages range from 4 mths - 2 yrs. I weened my litter of puppies recently with Canidae. It is a small, easy to chew Kibble. It softens very fast in warm water when needed for weening puppies. You can email the company & they will send you samples & coupons. |
