I am trying home made treats today first time..wish me luck I found an easy recipe on here going to try today. Hopefully, my babies like them. ONe sister has two chiuauas (I know I spelled that wong) and the other miniature pincher. Going to make them goody bags too. Will let you know how they turn out. I have the cutest little dog bone cookie cutter. It is so tiny, it is cute. I can't wait to use it. Heather-Mamma to Gracie and Hallee |

Thanks Bren, I'll check that out. :) Ladybug, what recipe are you trying? Let us know how it comes out. Now that I know about parchment paper, I'm interested in trying again. :) |
Yes, I too am interested in the recipe. I'm always looking for new things to try with my grandpup. |
Michaels I bought one at Michaels, craft store. I am also interested in finding any doggie shapes. :) I am also interested in cookie recipes. thanks |
I want to make my dogs treats but it is too hot to turn the oven on. |
We found out that Gizzy loves ice cubes! He has so much fun chasing them around the kitchen. It's like hockey for yorkies. :D Also, someone on here suggested pumpkin pops? I would really like to learn that recipe. Some yorkies like fruit....(remember no grapes or raisins)...maybe someone has some ideas. Watermelon might be fun (without the seeds). This might be great to freeze. |
Oh, plain ice cream is supposed to be a winner! :) |
Ice cream sounds like a good treat for me! |
My baby likes frozen applesauce- little small icecubes |
1/2 block low fat cream cheese 2 cups whole wheet flour 3 oz olive oil 6oz baby carrot food splash of vanilla Mix together, knead, roll out and cut into desired shape. Bake on 350 for 20min. Turn oven off and leave in oven till cools. I did not leave mine in the oven very long after turning it off and they came out fine. |
