Worried Mommy! :2hearts2: Ive had lola for alomost 4 weeks now and I really havnt left her alone that much! Maybe at the most an hour or 2 a day.. But starting the second week in july I have summer classes on monday and wed from 9-5 I have a hour break in between and I dont live to far away so I will be able to come c her for a little! Im very worried leaving her all this time:( ... does anyone have any suggestions?? Im thinking about hiring a baby sitter :p |
Well I hired a baby sitter when leaving DIggy alone but he had a few health issues so it was totally necessary. DO you have an X-pen? has she been in a cage forever? Do you have a smaller room you can block off for your baby? I block mine into the living room and kitchen.....both rooms are TOTALLY puppy proofed and safe for my baby to run. I odnt woryy about my 2 year old anymore....she is usually too lazy to get into trouble lol |
Is that lola in your avatar??? She is a CuTiE PiE!!!! :p |
Mine stay in the kitchen when we are gone. I just put child/puppy gates up between the rooms. It is tiled and no outlets are low to the floor. When I have to leave them in there, I put their crates (without) the doors, toys, a little dry kibble, and a full bowl of water. Also there are several throw rugs on the floor (Oscar loves to drag these all over the room). They seem perfectly content in there. I do leave a light and the tv turned on. OH...AND A PUPPY POTTY PAD!!!!! Good luck! |
Do you have a neighbor who could come and put her out for you during this time? Or maybe a teen that is off from school for the summer. You could give them a couple of bucks for doing this!:animal-pa |
With the great advice above, I think she'll be just fine. Maybe make sure she has lots of toys, some stuffed animals, and maybe a Kong to keep her busy? |
thanks so much guys! I took everyones advice its been almost a week and shes doing great with being a big girl and staying home alone! |
