Which is the Safest & Best Flea & Tick Collar? ASAP Hello All, I am in need of the safest and best flea & Tick collar for my baby. Which do you all recommend? Maria & Nene':animal-pa  |
I don't recommend a collar at all. If fleas or ticks are a problem in your area, ask your Vet which application product is best for your dogs needs. There is Revolution, Advantage, Advantage Gold (multi), Frontline. Collars are not effective and it is too easy for them to catch a collar on something and strangle themselves especially when you aren't home with them. |
I wouldnt use a flea collar. I have heard of dogs being poisoned by them. It would be better to shampoo the dog with dawn dishwashing soap to kill the fleas then follow up with a monthly flea preventative |
Flea collars have toxins...If for whatever reason, your pup accidentally licks it or anything like that, there could be some serious problems. There are natural ways to keep mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, etc. away from them. Do a search online and you can come up with some suggestions... |

Yes, of course, I don't know why I was thinking collars when I use a harness on my furbaby I was thinking along the lines of applications. He doesn't have any yet TG! but I want him to be prepared/protected for the season. Has anyone tried K9 Advantix? Maria & Nene':animal-pa |
