Plucking Of Ears Is it good to pluck yorkie ears as my vet did not recommend as can cause ear infections as pulling out hair follicle and they can get infected ? |

Mine get their ears plugged every other month ! Matter of fact they had a checkup with Vet last week and he said they are due ! |
i tried tweezing my dog's ear hairs, but he gets all fidgety...so i just use scissors and trim them really short. |
There is mixed opinions on whether to pluck or not. I pluck only those that are very hairy and only when needed. If hair is left in the ear canal it holds in moisture and can cause bacterial or yeast infections. |
does it hurt them when we tweeze the hairs? i know when i tweeze my own eyebrows it hurts! hahah well at first anyway. hmmm...yeah i always make sure my dog's ears are dry... |
