Even so, it would partially cover things, such as injuries, broken bones, illnesses-ingesting objects (they shouldnt), also commom illnesses, such as when my yorkie had diarrhea with nausea and vomiting. I just added up the cost of the insurance for a year, subtracted what it would cover for basic services-if I had no unexpected costs and it wasnt much more...so I thought for a little extra money...I would have extra coverage...thats the way I looked at it...so far, I have come out ahead. She was spayed last year, had anesthesia, pain medication to take home, and couple of other office visits last year for illness.
