Nutro??? What do people think of Nutro dog food? Is it healthy and safe? Just wondering..... |
Cody likes his Nutro Puppy small bites with chicken and oatmeal (or something like that...) We tried to start him on it slowly because he was used to kibbles and bits but he just picked it out of the kibbles and bits and got himself a little sick at first, but now he's doing just fine with it :) |
One of the groomers I work with thinks it's a great food. (The Nutro natural choice that is). I think there are better foods out there, but it's definitely much much better than most foods. If you're happy with it and your dog is doing well on it, then I think it's fine. One problem I have with them now is that they were bought out by Mars inc. Mars Inc. of course makes the candy bars but is another big company that owns all kinds of stuff and Pedigree is just one of the foods they own. I've found that Pet food brands owned by large companies like those aren't normally the best out there |
i work in a petshop and we had to go on a course with the neutro rep.. it is a really good food..they dont put any colours in it, and only the best meat. tinned foods are 75 80% water...which is not good..most people will pay for the fancy packet...they only put the best meat in too...a lot of foods have guts, and feet etc...neutro dont do that...i did not realise that all these colours in these foods, are in fact like a child having colours...a lot of foods are full of sugers too..neutro is not..compare it to other foods, look at the contents, and the contents of other foods..you will be surprised. |

yes it has been bought out, but that does not mean that they will change the food...have a look how much suger is used is pedigree....and colours...and compare the diffrence..i dont think it matters who owns it...but it, they wont change the content.:) |
Mine have done very well on Nutro natural choice, I buy it from a groomer friend. |
