Is Olive Oil OK? I feed my Yorkie Newman's Own dog treats and when I first bought them he loved them and would eat them with no problem. Now that he has had them for a couple of weeks I think he is tired of them. So in order to get him to eat it I dipped them in a little bit of olive oil. Is it OK to give Yorkies a little olive oil? I hope so because it's the only way he eats these treats and there are a lot left. |
i would assume because when skoshi was constipated so bad that he screamed when he pooped the vet told me to give him a little oil in a dropper, vegetable oil, cooking oil, olive oil. not a whole lot tho. |
sometimes i put oil in lexi's food if its too dry... |
it's supposed to be good for them. When I make meals for Zoe, I use olive oil to cook it. |
Some people put it on their food to improve coat quality. I dont know if it works. Also you can gve it to a dog that is constipated and it helps loosten stools |
My vet recommended it for my yorkie :) |
Good to know, thanks everyone. |
I use it when I'm home cooking for Jake. My vet told me to use it. I just use little amounts. |
Sometimes I use a little olive oil when I cook for Wes and Maddie. |
