Another food thread I know there are a lot of questions about food on here, but I have another question. Sorry! When I got Paddington, I fed him Science Diet Puppy Small Bites. The breeder said that is what he feeds the puppies, and my vet backed the recommendation. I don't really like it because it seems to have a lot of fillers and things that I've heard puppies can't really digest easily. He's had no problems with it but I wanted to switch to Inovva as soon as the bag got low. Well, over Memorial day I forgot to pack his food to visit my parents' so I went to the pet store and bought Eukanuba Small Breed Puppy. It was the best they had, but it has similar fillers in it (beet pulp is my concern) Then I was at PetsMart a couple weeks ago and found a brand called Blue Buffalo Co. and bought a bag. The kibble is a little large, but Paddington does well with it. So now I have these three foods that I've been feeding in combination. Has anyone heard of Blue Buffalo? I couldn't really find anything about it online, but the ingredients seem to be really good. Is it an okay brand for yorkies? It's a puppy formula. Also is it okay to feed these three in combination? His stools have remained normal. I just don't want to make him sick further down the line. Thanks, sorry I know it is long -O |
I have never heard of it...sorry.....:( |
Never heard of it either. I've heard giving them different foods can be hard on their little tummies. When I brought my babies home the breeder had them on Eukanuba I then gradually switched them to Nutro Ultra well then after a few months they got tired of that so then I switched them to Merrick's Turducken. Its a hit at my house...my babies love it! It has organic chicken, turkey & duck plus dried fruits and vegetables. Timmy picks out the peas so I see peas around the house most of the time...lol They also have 5 different variaties so if they get tired of the turducken I can switch them to grammy's pot pie and so on. |
I've heard of it but don't know anything about the ingredients. |
