Yogurt Feeders When you give your babies yogurt, how much do you give and how often. I think I read where someone gives it everyday. I am assuming it goes by age and weight so I have Bella 2 yrs and 5.5 pounds and Diggy 14 weeks Tuesday, he is about 2.5-3 pounds. I give the Yo Baby :D |

Yogurt is breakfast for my girls everyday. I don't have a specific age/weight ratio, I just give them both a heaping tablespoon mixed with their Missing Link. I use the Stoneyfield Organic either plain or vanilla. |

hmmm well they both absolutely love it so I think I am going to try and give it daily, maybe before breakfast. DO yours turn into a total mess when they eat it?? DIggy seriously had it between his eyes and Bella had it dripping off her chin and all over the sides of her face....Is there a neat way of doing this and Im missing it?? |

Definitely go by weight. Your babies should be able to share a single container for at least 2-3 days! (Since you're using Yo Baby!) Oz gets his once a day and a container lasts 2 days. (He is 14 pounds.) And a neat way?:p Yeah, open their mouths and insert it.:D Otherwise, if you find a neat way, let me know. Have a damp rag ready when they're done if not!:) |

Piggy babies Okay then I did it right....they ate about 1/3 of the container together. SO I am on pace for 3 days! :D Im so smart.....lol Actually the mess was getting bad and I have 2 spots of yogurt on my pj now ;) I learned real fast have wet paper towel on hand |

I just started feeding mine a little less than a tablespoon w/ missing link in the morning as well. He must be a neat-freak, b/c there isn't a drop of yogurt ANYwhere when he's finished, AND the bowl is licked clean :) |

Does he have short hair? |

Layla gets about 1 tsp to 1.5 tsps of yogurt with some berries (i buy them frozen and defrost a few and it will last a week) every day for breakfast... some times she wont' eat it all and the rest becomes an afternoon snack! |

I usually get the vanilla/banana pack and he does OK with both. Yeah, that wet towel is a prerequisite -- unless you're Kobi, I guess!:D |

Yo BABY! Okay thats what I was wondering....if this is what you used also. I didnt see any kind of Vanilla they had pear something, strawberry ban and i cannot remember the 3rd. Thanks for advice! :D |

Sissy and Angel don't have puppy cuts (though Angel is still a puppy at 7 months). I use little dishes for their yogurt that are meant for wasabit and sushi sauces (cause they are a great small size) and there isn't a drop of yogurt left on their dish or on them. They lap it right up!!!!!!!!!! |

Cereal Yes, I did see the ones with cereal.....I did not get those. Ae the cereal ones bad? |

I don't think they're bad, I just don't think they are as easily digestible -- especially for these guys. And considering that my tank of a dog had trouble with them, I'm thinking it would be worse for the guys who are less than half his size, which I think are most of the dogs on YorkieTalk.:D And I guess I'm jealous of all the "neat" Yorkies. Ozzie is Mr. Mess personfied!:p |

Question I have never given Emmy any yogurt--just never thought about it, but I am not going to lie, she LOVES cotage cheese. Is that okay too? Can I just buy the plain yogurt or vanilla--regular store brands or do I have to do the Yo Baby/upscale types. I am in small town Mississippi (SMALL!!!) and don't have a lot of choices without going to another town. When can I start little Oscar on it? He is 12 weeks and is a little piglet! So far he hasn't met a thing he won't eat, including the carpet, the chair legs, the sofa fabric, etc.:2pizza: |

Yo BABY! Im going to get pics of Bell and Diggy when they eat Yogurt. Bella licks so hard she flicks iot and it ends up on her head....by her eyes, and ALL over her beard. Diggy is bad....but nat as bad yet. He has kinda short hair being he is a pup. |

and another question one more thing, my daughter's vet told her the pups did not need a lot of things with calcium--more fresh fruits and veggies...what are your thoughts? |

calcium. hmmm never heard that.....I suppose too much of anything isnt good. If your giving as treats and with all the added vitamins in yogurts, and yo baby happens to have 6 live cultures I dont think you can go wrong. Everything in moderation as my mom says........lol ARe you gonna start with the yogurt? Mine went crazy had it from eyes to the floor below them it was actually very cute. Have a wet paper towel or wash rag handy! ;) ;) ;) :p |

I hear ya about the carpet, chair legs, etc. Angel was the same way till she lost her baby teeth and adult ones came in. Now she limits herself just to her chew toys, but she'll still eat just about anything I give her!!! |

Think we will try it When I go back to the grocery, I will pick up some yogurt. I am sure lil bit, Oscar, will eat it--he is just about through digesting the kitchen sink... Emmy might be a little more difficult! |

Question? :) Have any of you tried the yougurt and rice..Lee Roy loves it.:) |

I give Rocky one table spoon every morning plain Dannon Fat free it's the only way i can get out the door with out him screaming for dear life. On Thursday of last week i ran out and didnt realize so i put like 3 baby carrots in his little bowl were i normally put the yogurt and he was barking away  like hello that's not yogurt you trying to trick me mom! so i give him one table spoon every morning untill it finishes! |

You better give that baby his yogurt or we're going to have to turn you in for running a Yorkie sweatshop!:D |

My guys love yogurt. I give it to them as a treat twice a day...about a tablespoon...they look forward to it. Nancy, Sami and Lily |

Spicy gets a spoonful of cottage cheese on top of his food each night. He LOVES it! I've never given him yogurt but when I eat mine he sure acts like he wants some. I think he gets that carton confused with "his" cottage cheese one. :) |
