hot dogs Is it okay for yorkies to have cooked hot dogs, like from the grill? ;) |
I wouldn't feed my dogs hot dogs or any pork as it can really mess up some dogs stomachs. |
I give Gracie low fat Turkey franks. She loves them. |
I give Jake the little baby food turkey hot dog links, and he's crazy about them. I wouldn't give the pork or beef hot dogs though. |
HI, my baby likes chicken hot dogs and these are the only ones i give him |
I wouldn't feed regular old hot dogs, bc the ingredients are pretty disgusting. But, maybe turkey dogs, chicken dogs, or even tofu dogs perhaps? I feed the toddler chicken dogs (baby section, in a jar) and they love them. I'm not sure about grilling - isn't there some thought that grilling is a bit carcinogenic? It may not be so bad for us, but these guys are so little that it might have more of an impact on them. |
I think the carcinogenic issues with grilling are related to charcoal grills. I don't see why a gas grill would cause problems. |
I give my boy "Top Dogs"! I would rather give him hot dogs than what I used to feed him from the pet stores.... |
I give hot dogs to my dogs in moderation. The turkey ones are probably better for them |
oh I didn't know they could eat turkey dogs. Even the baby dog in a jar sound like a good treat; I'm gonna try it! Thanks |

Diggy will eat Chicken Stix I think by gerber. He also loves all the little baby finger foods they offer. The dried strawberries and bananas are his favorite! Most of the toddle foods are natural and low sugar plus you can even nibble with them. Bella loves when I take a bite then she gets a bite! SHe really thinks she is getting something good when I eat it!! lol:p |
hot dogs and pressed lunch meats are not good for dogs. When your grilling out, add a nice hamburger to the gril for the dog, or even a veggie burger. |

I meant to add that they were chicken dogs......NOT beef or pork Quote:

My dogs have never had a problem with ALL beef hotdogs. Haven't tried anyothers because they have other ingredients in them that could upset my babies belly's. |
