tumor in mouth  Has anyone else had their Yorkie go through treatment for a tumor in their mouth? I am taking the little guy to a 3d evaluation with a board certified vet. surgeon who will do the biopsy and surgery. Tumor is growing out of the inside of his cheek. Have not slept much (myself) since I found it. Anyone else had this happen? Sad and worried sick... |
I've never had this happen. I want to say welcome to YT first. 5 minutes with these people and you feel like you've been here your whole life. I don't know anything about that I just want you to know that you and your baby will be in our thoughtsand prayers. |
Your and your pup are in your prayers. Please keep us updated! |
Thank you for your kindness |
My mother had a Yorkie with mouth Cancer. Hopefully your isn't Cancer though. But anyways, she had mouth Cancer and lived with it for a couple years. She lived to be 16. (She didn't even have any treatment done for it) My mom couldn't afford it back then. But they told her she would only live a couple months, and she lived for a couple years till she was 16. I hope yours doesn't have Cancer, hopefully its just a tumor they can get out. But now a days they have so much more info on Cancer and tumors. Back than (almost 18 years ago) there wasn't much they could do. But now a days there are so many treatments. So don't worry too much. I know its hard to say than to do. I recently felt lumps on my yorkies belly. I was brest tumors. They got them out and they were'nt cancerous, so I know what you are going through waiting to see what going on with everything. I hope everything goes ok!!! |
Sorry to hear about your baby. Try not to worry until you find out what the problem is. One of our Schauzers got a really ungly looking red turmor that started growing on his side. I tooke him in, they removed it and all the results came back negative. My vet said some dogs get these and most of the time it is nothing. to worry about. I will keep you and your baby in my prayers. Let us know how how this turns out. |
My mixed breed dog has a tumor growing from her gum, the vet said it did not look like cancer so just to watch it and make sure it doesn't bother her. She did not want to do surgery at this point because she didn't think it neccesary yet. Try not to worry, most of the times we think the worst and it never is. I'll say a pray for youall. :) |
Good luck with your baby - I hope it turns out to be harmless....best wishes ! |
Thank you for sharing your info and sending your well-wishes |
Can't help as I have never heard of this but I will keep you and your furbaby in our prayers |
