Is it true? Is it true that if you feed your dog any raw food (like Nature's Variety Raw) that the dog shouldn't have any other kind of food for a certain length of time cause they digest the two at different speeds? If that is true, how long are you supposed to wait?? |

The raw can have bacteria, bones, etc. in it that is no problem when eaten alone as they would in nature as it passes through quickly. But when you combine it with grains and slow the digestion way down there is more potential to cause harm. I haven't read my BARF book in awhile, but I beleive that is the explanation. |
