Really calm after neuter! It's great! Ferdinand was neutered last week. I thought it would take a while for him to calm down and for the testosterone to clear his system, but I was wrong. I'm sure it's too soon to tell the real results, but boy he's turned into quite the quiet little lapdog. And he hasn't marked since I got him home. He's still very playful, but calm too (if that makes any sense). Whereas before the surgery he was a little wild-child. He's my little angel dog now! :) |
same with all 3 of mine :D we were happy too |
Yeah we're happy too. My boyfriend came home today from a trip with his dad and said "Wow, why is he so calm? Is he still medicated?" |
Oooh, it gives hope to those of us with crazy little boys! |
Maybe he's too afraid that if he marks or anything else he will get another thing cut off. :D Kidding aside, he's still getting over what happen to him. In three more weeks he will be settled down and you will then see if he's changed or back to his ol tricks. ;) |
Chachi calmed down alot after his neuter too |
I have a girl, and I can't say I've seen much/any change in her since her spay (although she does want to eat more now), but I'm glad to hear that your boys are all doing well. Sukoshi's always had a great temperment, so we're pretty lucky! |
He's still more calm than before his neuter and it's been 2 weeks since then... so I think there's hope! BUT, it's as if he's no longer potty trained now. He was 95% potty trained, and now he goes all over the house whenever he feels like it!! I think I read somewhere on here that the relapse in potty training (or lack thereof) is common after a neuter. I certainly hope this phase passes soon. |
