sleeping too much? it seems like roman is always taking naps. i dont have an exact number of how much he sleeps per day, but it seems like a lot. does anyone kno the typical amount of sleep they should get? hes 11 weeks i dunno if that matters or not.... |
Puppy sleep more then adult dogs do. Its normal. As long as you are giving him petgold Super-Cal or something long those lines, every day... I would not worry to much about it. |
waiting 4 answers too. all 3 of mine love sleeping very much. i've to wake them in the morning to eat  |
My pup sleeps all the time especially after baths, grooming, eating, any exertion of any kind (including running around outside or playing with Taya) and she passes out- I have to literally pick her up and move her around a little before she'll even open her eyes and then she goes right back to sleep unless we're outside or something! But when she's awake she's very active- as long as he's active when he's awake I would think he's fine- if he's lethargic even when he's up you might want to get him checked out! |
ok hes VERY energitic when hes awake....hes always getting into something lol! ive never had a dog before so im not sure of these things but im learning so much more everyday!! |
it is healthy for dogs to sleep between 18 to 20 hours a day. I wished I was a dog.... :D |
My Abbigail is a yr. and sleeps sooo much. Iv'e only had her for 3wks but she is a sleeper. ha! I wonder what is normal? 20 hrs. is about her speed! lol |
Young pups sleep alot |
1 Attachment(s) Young puppies do sleep a lot. Izzy has always been a sleeper. The breeder called him sleepy..I still call him that too. My cousin calls him a little bum! He is the king of finding a corner on the couch or a good spot on my lap to sleep. Here he is taking a nap when I brought him to work last week. There was no couch around so he picked the floor! :D |
