Wet Area when he wakes up.
 
I've noticed lately that when Ollie wakes up that there may be a damp spot under where he was sleeping. As well is penis is damp. Has anyone ever noticed this before. It's only sometimes not all the time. Almost like he was licking it but he could be sound a sleep for the night.

Is he neutered? How old? Is it a large spot or small? Have you tried to smell the area to see if it smells like urine? Not sure I can help ya, but these things may factor in to figuring out what it is... urine, saliva from licking, semen?

Yep, smell it. If it's urine - go to the vet! We also thought this was from Loki licking but it happened once when he was napping near me and I watched him the whole time and he did not lick. We took him to the vet and she said he had nighttime incontinence where his muscles just spasmed or even relaxed too much. The drug is call PPA (phenylpropanoalamine, I think) and I give it to him at night. We had NO IDEA because he was totally house trained, although he does go out A LOT during the day. From the DAY we got the PPA we had no more problems. It worked right away.

Oh, Loki has to be on the meds forever BUT they don't seem to have any side effects (he's been on it for a year now) and it's super cheap because Yorkies are so small. A $30 bottle lasts around 4-6 months.

Definitely check to see if it's urine. If it is, he definitely needs to go to the vet. Good luck!

That's great to know, Cali did it one day a few weeks ago when she was napping and she was on steroids for allergies so I stopped them. Then 2 weeks later she did it again. I will talk to her vet.
