Yogurt I hear of people saying only give plain low fat yogurt...Diggy like strawberry low fat yogurt....Why not the fruity stuff?? Im assuming its the sugar?? But if he is hypo and I am actulayy trying to get sugar in him wouldn't a small amount be okay?? |
You should double check the safe for Yorkies food list regarding the fruit. The big concern with most low fat yogurts is they are sweetened with artificial sweetener. If baby is hypoglycemic, I would think Nutrical might be a better option. I would worry about erratic blood sugar levels giving straight glucose as is in table sugar. Just my opinion. To be safe, you should discuss with your vet. |
See how many calories are in it, then compare it with the non-fat plain if you add a few blueberries. |

Be careful with artificial sweeteners...They are very bad for dogs. |
