What is the best toothpaste??=
 

Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out? I wanted to purchase a dental kit for my two yorkies but was wondering what is the best one to buy and what everyone would recommend from personal experience. I was at Petsmart and saw the Petrodex. I have looked up this topic on this forum but when I was at the pet store I saw there were two different toothpastes from Petrodex. One was the beef flavored and one said it was All Natural and was Peanut flavor. Just curious if anyone has used these and if they know which one is better for our yorkies or which one they prefer? I was thinking about purchasing the all natural one because I guess it has all natural products in it. If anyone knows more about this I would greatly appreciate your help.

I was also wondering what type of product you recommend to clean their ears. Using swabs? wipes? or drops? Which product works the best? Also how often should you clean the wax out of their ears.

I was also wondering if there is a nail clipper that works really well for anyone?

Yes, we pluck Yoda's ears. Also, we clean out his ears with a cotton swab with Novacleanse. That's the best ear cleaning solution there is, but you can only get it at your vet! It smells great, whereas most ear cleaners smell like alcohol...

I Don't know if this is the Best toothpaste, but I use it as well. I use the Petrodex in beef flavor and my doggies seem to LOVE it lol, they almost brush their own teeth :p .

As for the ears, I'm having a battle as it is cleaning ears since they All have hair in there that i'm afraid to pluck out and if I go to the vet here, they will charge me an arm and a leg :mad: . I'm stil trying to find a great vet.. Very Hard :(

And for the nail clippers, i bought some really generic Cat Clippers Lol.. but they work the same :) sorry if im not much help, but i thought i'd just give some advice if ic ould.
