is Rusty overweight? He's 10 weeks old and he's already 2.4lbs  |
No he isnt at all. At 12 weeks you take the weight and double it and it gives you an estimate of adult weight |
No, he's fine. He'll probably between 5 and 6 lbs when grown. (Of course there's never any guarantee). The Yorkshire Terrier standard goes up to 7 lbs. :) |
No Rusty is not overwight . |
Don't think so. Our first Yorkie was around 2 pounds, maybe a dash under at that age, and he ended up being 7 pounds. My current guy, Ozzie, was 3.3 pounds when we brought him home at 11 weeks. He is now 13.5 pounds, just a little heavier than his normally fit 12 pounds. :) We're working on it though now that we have nice weather again! |
Rusty sounds like he is a perfect weight!!!:) |
Maddie was about that size at that age and now she is 6.5 pounds and not fat at all. |
