Possibly a bacterial skin infection Could someone tell me the causes of a bacterial skin infection and how I would determine if, indeed, I am dealing with such an infection? Thanks in advance for all input, Jane :) |

Possibly bacterial skin infection Quote:

My Pom gets bacterial skin infections alot. Cali has had a couple as well. One reason is they can scratch themseleves and it gets infected. Maya is older and her immune system is not great. She was diagnosed with thyroid and Cushings disease which were causing bad skin infections with hair loss. For the small bacterial infections the vet gave me panalog cream which is the dog equivalent of Neosporin. When she had multiple sores they put her on an oral antibiotic. Hope you baby get well soon. |
