cleaning teeth hi all:wavey: i haven't been posting for a while but back again:) i recently broke my arm and can not brush my 2 peanuts teeth for a while as good as i used to. i have decided to use hydrogen peroxide and gauze to clean their teeth. can anyone tell me if there is a shelf life on peroxide and how do you use this for yorkies...deluted with water?? or....? thanks in advance for your help tina pucci:aimeeyork gigi:aimeeyork |
I don't know about the dilution for using it on your dogs teeth...you may want to call the vet. I think peroxide pretty much as an indefinite shelf life. I know my Dad wills sometimes gargle w/ peroxide to help when his teeth hurt, but I am not certain if he dilutes it or not. There are several products out there, like Petzlife, that is a gel that you rub on and a spray too. I would just ask a vet about it though. Sorry about your arm....hope it heals properly and fast! |
