Help, Macey is acting strange!!!!! I think something is wrong with her tooth... For as long as I have had dogs and for how many I've had in my life time, I have not experienced seeing my babies teeth fall out! Well tonight Macey is not acting right, she's chewing her mouth empty, and pawing at her mouth as though she's trying to get something out! I freaked out and ran my fingers all thru her mouth and there is nothing lodged and she's drinking. I tried to see inside and she's fighting like mad for me to get in her mouth and way in the back I see almost like a yucky tooth that looks like it might be coming out???? She's 6 months old 05/16, could this be one of her teeth coming out? But why would it look yucky? All her other teeth are nice and white. I honestly have not seen any of my babies ever go thru this or ever seen one of their teeth come out so I'm clueless in this area! With all I know about my dogs, I feel so silly asking this. Is it just her baby tooth coming out? |
It could easily be her teeth - I used to play tug of war with Chanel every night when her adult teeth were coming in and her baby teeth came out by themselves...I found ONE tooth one night and it totally shocked me ....lord knows where the rest went but she has a perfect bite...Cheri needed teeth pulled so if it IS teeth be glad they're coming out on their own. |
Its one WAY in the back so Its so hard to see. She just picked up a cow hoove and is chewing it. she's just acting so sad :( I don't want my poor baby to hurt. Brodie has retained 4 and we go soon to have them removed. I'm going to be a wreck! |
Hokule'a will be 6 months on May 10th and she has been losing teeth left and right this past week - I'm amazed she has any left in her mouth to chew with! I am glad though since her heart murmur is so bad that the vet doesn't dare put her under anesthesia for any type of surgery. |
