Solid Gold Wee Bits okay for 9 month old? Hey y'all.. :-) So after the CS recall, I embarked on finding Pheona a new food, that she would eat. I switched her over to Merricks Dry, because she loves their wet food. Well, she would not eat the dry kibble for anything. She would spit it out! So, I recieved some free samples of Solid Gold Wee Bits, and these seem to be a sucess. My question is though, it says it is "adult" food. She is only 9 months old. Is this okay for her? The girl at the pet store told me that 9 months should be okay to put her on this. Should I pick up a bag of this, or try the solid gold puppy formula for a few months? She hasn't tried the puppy formula yet, so I'm not sure she would eat it. She likes the really tiny kibble. She gets Merricks wet, and Missing Link in the evening kibble as well. Thanks for any input! |
Shouldn't be a problem. |
We are feeding our little girl who is just 7 mos old the Solid Gold Wee Bits and she is thriving. She's a picky eater, so it's nice that she likes these crunchies. |
Adult food is fine for a puppy, too. They just get a little more than is recommended for an adult. The Solid Gold Puppy kibble is much larger than the Wee Bits (crazy, I know) - so if your pup likes the small bites, she might not like the puppy formula. Angel has been on SG Wee Bits since we brought her home. She doesn't get much though, only about 1/8 Cup since she gets yogurt and home cooked food as her meals. |
I fed my Rexy Solid Gold Wee Bits since the day we got him (9 weeks) because that is the only thing that Rowdy (1 year old) would eat, and I had to leave it down all the time for Rowdy. So, I just fed it to Rexy - and Rexy did great! If you look at the nutritional content, it is almost just like the adult food. |
