How 'bout Human canned chicken for occ. short cut to home cook? I bought some human canned chicken and tried it last night w/ some rice. THEY LOVED IT. Granted, not the same as raw or cooked - but for a home-cookin' short cut, not bad. At least it's human grade. Vienna chicken sausages may be another option. Only thing of concern is sodium - I can't find anywhere what the canine requirements vs. excess (in MILLIGRAMS) for sodium are. |
I've wondered about this too....but hey, sodium vs tainted food...pretty much a no-brainer, huh? We just can't win can we. |
I would suggest checking the ingredients to make sure there is no onion or garlic in there, especially if you are considering the sausages. |
