All three of my dogs have had episodes with reverse sneezing. Ivan just does it 3 or four times in a row. Adie maybe does it twice but Cassie does it over and over. It terrifies her. I massage her nose where her nostrils start (on the outside not blocking her air). Her eyes water and she is stiff as a board. Once it stops it doesn't phase her anymore and she is fine. I did observe Adie leaning way over the side of her toy box to retrieve something and it started an episode. That made me wonder if it was her trachea instead of her nose. She too is only 4 lbs. |
