are problem is we got her because she belonged to my father in law and he was killed in a car wreck in feb so i have limited info but he had just gotten a new male the day before he was killed and he was planning on breeding her with him as soon as he sold the litter of pups that she had had in dec that's why i was wondering when she would be in heat again we have 2 males and they aren't showing any interest | OK! here's some physical signs to watch for....check her daily for swelling and pickness of her vaginal area. Once you see that it's usually about a week before she begins to show color. I would at that point seperate her from all male dogs. Or, better yet, why not have her spayed, then you wouldn't have to worry about all this. Believe me, if and when she's ready, your dogs will know it and she'll be bred in a blink of an eye if you don't take precautions. |
