Pet insurance? Any one have it? Do you think that it is worth it and who do you have it threw? Thanks! |
I definitely think it's worth it. I have mine through VPI. I have a cancer rider, and a $10,000/year max. I mainly think it's worth it in case there is any kind of accident or emergency. I don't have $10,000 laying around to be able to spend at an emergency vet, so it's comforting to have the back-up. Mine is only like $15/month. Plus, if there is an emergency, all I have to pay is a $50 deductible. It does cover immunizations etc, but that's just kind of an added benefit in my mind. |

I just looked at VPI and they want from about $23 - 33, depending in the plan. Do you think it's because I live in NYC? |
I pay $26.50 per month for the VPI Superior Plan and Vaccination and Routine Care Coverage. |

I find this strange! I pay $24.34 a month for the superior plan and a cancer rider is additonal! Also this does not enclude office visits, shots or any rebate on heartworm or frontline. Looks like they are charging according to where you live! |
I know I pay $294 a year for Zoey alone. VPi is the best thing i ever came across. |
I have VPI through work (payroll deduction). I work in HR and suggested that we offer pet insurance. Mine starts May 1st. It will cost me $12.00 biweekly. |
a question about VPI - the Vaccination and Routine Care Coverage. what shots will be needed after the booster's are done???? i know rabies but i am wondering since he will get his last booster next month do i need that coverage? |
