? What do you cook for your dogs? Just heard of the new recalls, to those of you that are cooking for your dogs would you please share some of your recipes. I am wanting to start cooking for Baby Blessing and Dollie. Baby Blessing really enjoys baby carrots cut up tiny for her treats. When Baby Blessing was quite young and got so ill on a bad batch of food, the vet felt this was what happened (of course back then the company said the food tested within their spects) that was so scarey, I tried to bring up the thread from back then but not able to. Our vet at that time, said she was against putting her on human food diet in fear of something not being in the diet that should be. We through the years have had to do research on nutritional benefits for ourselves. Numerous times I asked our Physicians regarding nutrition and they were very honest in their replies, not knowing much about nutrition :( this made us start searching on our own and learned a tremendous amount to help ourselves through these aging years. I am now leaning to do the same thing for Baby Blessing and Dollie. I am going to start looking into it today, in the meantime would appreciate any input from those that are already doing this. Thanks so very much, Patti and Jack Baby Blessing and Dollie |
There are nice books out there written by Holistic Vets. on neutrition and have recipes. That would be the way to go. |

Ive started cooking for LillyBelle after she got sick on the nutro natural canned food, I had her tested and luckily she's fine. I searched here on YT and there are some good cooks....Ive been cooking a weeks worth of ground beef 95% lean, tsp garlic powder, chopped grean peas, chopped carrotts,(if you use canned-rinse well to remove the salt) couple tablespoons cooked chopped spinach, tablespoon or so of olive olive...brown the ground beef, stir in the rest till cooked. I do leave some dry food out during the day and feed her this morning and evening. |
RAW MEAT for Mitzi! She's doing great with it! |
