My baby is getting spayed today! Please everyone pray that my "Murphie" comes thru her spay ok this morning. She weighs 3 lbs 15 oz. this morning and is six and half months old. I felt horrible leaving her at the vets. She was very clingy. They called and said she needed her baby teeth pulled too on the uppers and the lowers. I am sitting here nervously waiting on them to call and tell me it is over. She has to spend the night there and then I can pick her up tomorrow after 10 am. Wish us luck!!! |

sweetie, i will pray for you and murphy. maggie just got spayed last friday so i know exactly what you are going through. but maggie came through perfectly and you would never know anything ever went on :) she didn't skip a beat :) good luck hun and please let us know as soon as you know something. |
You have mine...it's nervewracking but usually they do much better than we expect...good luck ! |
Update on Murphie I just called the vets office. Murphie came thru surgery (spaying) ok and they said she seems fine and she is very tired. They had to pull her four canine baby teeth while she was asleep. I want to thank everyone for your replies and your prayers. Thank You. |

Thanks Diego and Pepe Mint. I just talked to the vets office again. I am going home to get her normal puppy food so we can see if she will eat. She hasn't eaten since 6:30 pm yesterday. I hope they let me see her. Did anyone else get to see their pup on the day of spaying or is this out of the question? |

Yep! Thinking of you and Murphie! I just went through the same thing on Monday! I feel bad your baby has to stay the night, but honestly, by the time you see him, he will already seem close to "normal!" The first night is the toughest!! Prayers to you both!! Keep us posted when they call with the update! |

Thank you everyone.... I know I named her a confusing name. I couldn't come up with a name that I liked and decided Murphie Brown suited her. I named her after Murphie Brown on TV. I was hoping my pup would be blonde, beautiful and intelligent! We've got the beautiful (in my eyes) and intelligent down. Not too sure on the blonde part. I think she is going to be very dark. She can sit, lay down, shake hands, wave bye bye, and roll over. That is all I have worked with her so far. Gotta get busy on that. |
