Pet food When I brought my new Yorkie Jake home, he was on Eukanuba. My older yorkie, Dunkin is on Iams. Jake wants the Iams and has not been eating his Eukanuba. I even put some grilled chicken on it and he just ate the chicken. I know there are some great foods out there and I do not care about the price as long as the quality is good. |

to do the best with Wellness canned food...Turkey and Sweet Potato. She never warmed up to any of the dry foods. I've even tried the raw diets and don't blame her at all for not liking them !! |

Petco, petsmart, pet value, etc. most pet stores have it. You can also order it online. Feed what works best for you and your dog. Welcome to the group :) |
Thanks for all your effort in doing this for everyone. That is awesome lists that you have shared.I know, I'm going to try some samples and try it to my pet. |
Artemis samples 1 Attachment(s) I asked for a free sample of dog food and I got a box of 15+ small 3 oz bags!! My dogs are both kind of picky and they love it! So glad there is a company out there who understands customer service. |

Three years ago I was blessed with a 1 yr old 3.5 lb female Yorkie. Blue Buffalo is the only dog food I have found she can digest. I am wondering if I should continue to leave her food out so she can eat when she is hungry or should I put her on a schedule? Because of her size I am concerned about allowing her to eat when she is hungry. :) |
We have been feeding our 4 dogs Horizon Legacy and they have been doing very well on it. It is a good grain free food with a low glycemic index. |
allowing her to eat when she is hungry I have stuck to a twice-daily feeding schedule ever since Graysee was a puppy. 6:00 AM, and 6:00 PM, with times varying within an hour, depending upon what time I actually get out of bed, get home, etc. Any additional meals would result in her resembling a football with legs! She will eat anything, any time, with few exceptions. Lately, I've been trying to break her from asking for a treat every time she asks to go out and potty; it's been hard, and I've certainly spoiled her. She IS a little overweight, even for her larger size, so it's going to be a long, hard road getting her "untrained". :aimeeyork |
Food? I guess I forgot to mention what type of food I'm feeding Graysee! She likes the Blue Buffalo foods; lately, she's been on the Healthy Weight formula, in an effort to reduce her weight by a couple of pounds! It's slow going (refer to previous post about TREATS), but she'll eventually get there. She seems to like Blue Buffalo foods, especially the little, dark brown crunchy anti-oxidant bits; she REALLY likes the "crunch"! :) |
HI! I have just started Evo with my puppy, weaning her off of puppy chow brought by the breeder - she is now 17 weeks old. What is shocking to me is her very stinky farts on this new food!! Is this part of the transition - or does it happen with a meat diet? Please forgive my post here - I can't for the life of me find how to start NEW posts - all suggestions welcome - Thanks! |
