Canidae and runny eyes? I switched my little guy from Chicken Soup to Canidae. He likes it, it seems like he doesn't itch as much, but I have noticed his eyes are running. Before he would get a little gunk every couple of days, but it was pretty much dry. Now it seems more wet. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it is the food or something else? |
Im not sure but I feed my babies a mix of Canidae and RC and haven't experienced that problem. Maybe its the change of seasons. |
I don't think it is the food, Candiae is suppose to be good for those with tear staining/running eyes. I have all mine on Canidae and it has actually helped them with the tearing. |
Mine eat Canidae and they do have runny eyes. I'm not sure if they are due to the Canidae because they've always had runny eyes even when they were on different foods. |
I havnen't experienced this w/ Canidae. Could it be the time of year - allergies? They can be given benadryl if they have allergies - but someone else would have to confirm the dose... |
I currently feed Canidae..........will be stop feeding it by as soon as I wean them to the honest kitchen food. I will let ya know if I see any difference. Bobbi has tear stains worst in the morning............but I don't think it's the food because I've tried several with and it's the same. Consider this an experiment ;) |
What Kind Of Canidae Do You Feed, And Is It Small Bites? Gb |
I feed Canidae and haven't had any problems with runny eyes. Maybe it's just his hair poking him in his eyes. |
I have fed Canidae for almost two years -- 7 yorkies and one elderly boxer. No problem with runny eyes or eye boogers. |
I've fed Princess Canidae for a year now... she has runny eyes everyday too but she's had it since she was a pup so I don't know if it's because of Canidae... I think her eyes may be running a bit more but I'm not sure.. it could be my imagination :p |
