Grr..gonna kill Pipers breeder Its time for piper to be groomed so i set up an appointment. Only to find out 2 hours later from my boyfriend that his friend(the breeder we bought piper from) gave us the wrong set of papers AND that piper is behind on 2 sets of shots. She was supposed to get an entire set before she was even GIVEN to us. So NOW i get to try and find a place that wont charge me an arm and a leg to get her up to date on all her shots. So if any of you have a good place in Tampa, FL or CLOSE surrounding areas, that are not expensive please let me know. I dont want any thing to happen to her, im so annoyed that he didnt keep her up to date on her shots! AHHH! |
Animal Coalition of Tampa I'm not sure they can do all the shots she is missing at once. They may have to be spaced out a bit. (I think) Although I personally haven't used these people, the Animal Coalition of Tampa (ACT) has THE lowest prices on shots (less than Petsmart & Petco). There are a lot of people that use them at work - in fact, they recently came to our workplace along with the Humane Society for an Adopt-A-Thon. Anyway, here are their prices: Rabies Vax* - $10 FRVCP (feline distemper) - $10 FELv (feline leukemia) - $10 DALPPv (canine distemper) - $10 Bordatella (canine kennel cough) - $10 Flea Treatment- $5-10 Nail trim - $5 Microchip - $20 Heartworm test - $15 FIV/FELv test - $20 Dewormer - $5 *State Law requires that all animals over 4 months of age receive a rabies vaccination unless a current certification of rabies can be produced ACT 1719 W Lemon St Tampa, FL 813-250-3900 Hope this helps and good luck! :) |
Also, if you're looking for a great vet...Companion Animal Hopital in Thonotosassa near USF is excellent!! And they have great prices :) Their website is: www.companionvet.net They saved Miko's life, and they truly care about each and every animal. |
Oh my goodness !! i'm s0o0o0o sowie to hear that about piper's breeder !! Gezz louise !! |
I would be PLENTY upset also, Stella's breeder actually attached the labels from the vials to her ammunization record so the vet knew exactly what she had been given. I thought this was a very good practice and my vet didn't have a problem since he had all the information needed. I'm so sorry this happened |
