So, w/ the introduction of dry foods, I really read the article and realized I've been feeding my baby Nutro Natural Choice Lite canned food. Well, I went to the Menu Foods website and I checked his case of cans and none of them were printed w/ the UPC/expiration date of the tainted food. His are UPC 7910532158 w/ an expiration date of November 3rd, 2009. So, I am tossing all his canned food out anyway. He isn't exhibiting any signs of kidney failure. About a month ago, he did vomit in the morning (yellow, greenish) for about 4 or 5 days and I just figured his stomach was upset and I made him eat in the morning as soon as he got up and fed him boiled chicken and rice. He hasn't vomited in over a month, I would say. So, do you think I should take him to the vet. too? I just had him there yesterday for a mild case of earmites. He doesn't seem ill, but gosh... now I'm scared and feel so silly for not reading fully into that article. I guess I thought Nutro foods were "too good" for that to happen. |
