All stages food question Hi all! As you know I have a 3 year old yorkie (Cody) and a 16 week old (Izzy). I like so many of you on here am trying to figure out what the best food is for my babies. My question is how can 1 food (Any all stages food) give enough nutrition to all dogs? I just find it hard to believe that a puppy can get what it needs on the same food that you may feed to a senior dog and that dog gets what it needs. Can anyone explain this to me? |
If you call the particular food company you are wondering about, they will explain their reasoning. I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to feed puppies double what the adults would get so that they get enough nutrition...At least that's what they told me. Good luck! |
I feed Canidae All Life stages. I mix in the regular formula with the chicken and rice formula and my two just love it! Here's a link on how the all life stages works: http://www.canidae.com/ingredients/whyalllife.html |
Yep, that explains it perfectly! |
Thank you very much guys. That is exactly the food I was thinking of too. :D I love YT! |
