RC has a great team of scientists and knowlegeable people on their team. I would contact them for suggestions. They've always been very helpful when I've contacted them. Royal Canin - Nutrition santé pour chien et chat - Health Nutrition for dog and cat |
Gracie had the same prob. Breath was fine on old food. Horrible on royal canin. Switched back to old brand and breath is back to normal thank god! |

She has actually. She just got her spay on 3/21 and everything was fine. No retained teeth or anything. If the breath continued with the old food I would definitely think it was a problem with her. But I can really turn the bad breath off and on just by switching between the two brands. It's definitely weird! Maybe it has more to do with each dogs individual chemestry, I don't know. |

can somebody tell me if there is still a problem with iams smart puppy food dry |
concern does anyone know if there is still a problem with the iams smart puppy dry food???? |
Jax ate RC for a brief period, but very brief... so I can't really judge completely but I think he ate it for about 2 months and he began getting tarter/plaque buildup on his teeth faster than usual even with brushing. Never was happy with his poop either. He sure loved the taste though! Honestly? he did really well on Purina One Beyond while we were waiting for Farmina food to come out in the US. But honestly, I haven't seen a huge difference between the two. I may end up feeding Beyond again as our main kibble simply because it's easier to get locally and is cheaper. I think the chicken one smells really good actually but maybe I'm weird! :p |
breath was fine one day, awful awful the next. It was her puppy teeth. soon as those were all out her breath was just fine within like two days. Its not the food. |
