sounds like you have a really good vet! If anything needs done, i will have them do it when she is spayed. I think it is hard on them to have to be put down too many times. |
I always get the "works" when i have mine out for any thing. I got their teeth cleaned, dental work done, spaying, dew(sp) claws removed, and microchipped all while they were out. Good luck with Maggie! You will be glad you got it all done all at once. :D |
Winston also retained his baby teeth, they were removed when he went in to be neutered. The vet laughed and said he looked like a shark with all those extra teeth, 14 to be exact!!! But he has a beautiful smile now @ 3 years old, and his bite seems perfect. So I say don't worry about it, it will turn out just fine. |
My little boy just went through the same thing. He is almost 10 months old and I took him to his vet and he pulled them both. He was fine in a couple of hours. |
i am glad to know this is fairly common, so I don't worry too much. I am sure it will all be fine, I have just never seen it before :) thanks for all the help guys!!!!! |
Don't freak out. They may still come out on their own. Chizzie retained a tooth and I would "wiggle" it while she was snuggling in my lap. I was able to wiggle it loose and eventually I pulled it -- the Tooth Fairy came and I added it to my growing critter tooth collection -- I have Yorkie teeth, Boxer teeth, kitty teety, horse teeth and goat teeth. |
