Questions about baby teeth & adult teeth. I usually brush Oreo & Ginger's teeth twice or three times a week. I Don't know how in the heck i've seemed to miss this.. but.. Ginger's teeth are all messed up. There seem to be teeth growing over teeth  i'm freaking out, I know this isn't normal, does this mean that they are her baby teeth & Adult teeth? Do I have to get them pulled out? Does she have to go under anesthesia? How much does this procedure usually cost? I'm so mad at myself for not seeing this, i might have to delay my 3rd puppy addition to fix my Ginger's teeth! I can't seem to get a good enough picture to show... but on a few of them they are over lapping. i don't know what to do! anyone gone through with this? do I have any options? :( Concerned Mommy Deyna |
Well the only problem i had was Toto's canines on the bottom never fell out so his two adult teeth grew right on the side of them. I had to get them pulled out because they ended up building plaque between them. During that same time they said it would also be better if i got him fixed so i wouldn't have to put him to sleep twice and that it would be alot cheaper. I think its around $110 to just get them pulled out. But i also think it depends on how many. I got him fixed and had his two teeth pulled at the same time. Total was almost $200.00 dollars. Good luck better to take care of it now before they start building plaque. |
Don't worry too much about the two sets of teeth...I noticed that happened with my pup too, and he eventually lost the baby teeth, also like April said, you can get the baby teeth taken out when you get your pup fixed. It happens pretty often, there have been other threads on this topic you can search for and learn about other people's experiences. |
