Seameal vs Missing Link? Have any of you used Solid Gold's Seameal with Flaxseed meal along with their Sun Gold Pure Yucca? I'm interested in comparing it to The Missing Link. I've used almost 2 - l lb. bags of Missing Link now and I honestly don't see much difference. Maybe it's doing something on the inside, but as far the coat goes, not much change. Especially in my cottony gal - no change at all. So, when this bag of Missing Link is gone, I think I am going to make a switch and see if it does anything different. Anyhow, just wanted to know if anyone else has used it and your thoughts on it. Thanks! |
Never tried it..........but do let us know what you think about it once you try it!! |
morgan has a cottony coat too and i didn't see much of a difference with the missling link. I switched to seameal about a month ago and its really helped her coat. its growing fast for one thing and its fluffier. i like it better |
All I have ever tried is Missing link. I absolutely LOVE what it has done for my furkids coats.......including the cat ;) I have been using it for about 4 months now though.......... I know others on here use Grizzly's salmon oil too with much luck ;) |

I have tried the Solid Gold Sealmeal. I didn't use it long enough to really tell a difference. I ran out and ordered Missing Link from Kathryn at BeyondSpoiled. From reading labels, both are excellent products. Dear, Friend, you must be patient. It can take MONTHS and MONTHS to see any significant changes in the coat when you are working from the "inside out". |

The groomer I take Rex to breeds champion yorkies and she suggested Solid Gold to me. She's never said anything about Missing Link. (oh, he's not nearly as cottony as he used to be!) |
Thanks! I started my cottony gal on the Sea Meal yesterday and next week when I get it, she wil be starting the Yucca supplement, too. My other dogs will finish off the Missing Link and then they will start on the Sea Meal too. I hope it helps! omega |
