Caesars, is it bad mixing with other dry foods if that's the only way my pup will eat 1 Attachment(s) I saw another thread about this, but didn't see any responses. Caesars, is it bad mixing with other dry foods if that's the only way my pup will eat? I got Missy from a breeader at 2.5 months at that time the breeder provided me with dry Eukanoba puppy and Caesars and said to mix together to assure that she eats. Missy seemed to be getting bored with that mix so I then switched from Eukanoba and recently went to dry Royal Canine puppy after reading several helpful threads on here about puppy foods. (Love Yorkietalk!) However, I am still mixing the Royal Canine with Caesars and she eats a little more now. I recently heard that Caesar's isn't so good, but it seems to be the only thing that she'll eat with dry food. Is Caesars so bad if mixing it with other dry healthier foods if that's the only way my pup will eat? I also tried Eukanoba wet with Royal Canine dry and she barely even touches it, but when I did the same dry food with Caesars she ate it all. If Caesars is so bad, anyone have any other wet food suggestions to mix Royal Canine with? |
Caesars is the only moist mine will eat and they look forward to getting it so I feed it to mine everyday. They also eat the royal canin hard |
Wellness has a new canned food out called "Ninety-Five Percent Chicken," and it's just that....95% chicken. When you open the can, it looks like ground up chicken. It has ZERO grains, which tons of dogs have problems with, and no byproducts (like Ceasers). My picky picky picky yorkies LOVE it and they don't like any other canned foods. I mix it with their hard food and they gobble it up. Ceasers is really not a good food. I would suggest trying other more healthy canned foods (like the new Wellness) and if all else fails, stick with the Ceasers. Eating a less healthy food is better than not eating at all, that's for sure. |

My 2 would only eat Cesars, Maya is going to be 10 years old nd I know it is not a good food but she has had no problems and a beautiful coat. I am now switching them to Wellness lamb ans sweet potato wet and they seem to be ok with it, Maya especially. |

Hello My Harvey Is Quite Fussy - He Has Been On The Ceaser Refined (dont Know If You Have It Over There - It Is A Pouch) - It Looks Good Enough For Me To Eat As Well!!!!! I Warm It Up For Him And Add Puppy Mixer - He Loves It. I Belive It Is Not That Good A Food - But While He Likes It I Will Carry On. |
This is only a thought. If I were you, I'd prefer to bake white meat chicken on a raised rack - remove the skin - and feed her the chicken with her doggy food. |
that sounds like a wonderful idea. I'll try that. |
