pro plan heyyy Pixie is now 3 1/2 months oldd.. I have been feeding her Pro Plan for puppies. I havnt really read anywhere about pro plan on this site so0 i was wondering if its a good brand ? i want to switch her food what do u suggest i switch it to? And also can i give her wet food once in a while? |
Bella is 4 months old today......In the morning and for dinner I give her a thin slice cut into small pieces of Natural Balance roll mixed with Royal Canin dry food, sprinkled with parmsean cheese and during the day I leave Royal Canin dry food for her. |
Pixie, you name it, I have tried it with Maggie. I at one time was her Short Order Cook. She is 3 months old. She too is on Purina Small Breed Pro Plan for Puppies. Is this the exact thing you are using? They have just a Pro Plan Puppy formula, so you have to watch for the Small Breed Puppy. Maggie loves it. She eats 4 times a day. I mix 1 TBLS of Pro Plan (softened just a tiny bit with water) and 1/4 container Ceasar Puppy food. She is a little piggy at mealtime. I leave Pro Plan free feed out for her all the time. I will catch her grabbing a couple of kibbles and taking them to the den to eat. I have tried so many things including Natural Balance. My heelers are on Pro Plan and they are in excellent condition, so I figured why not try it for Maggie too. Good Luck with your baby. |
Tini has been on ProPlan since she was a baby at the breeders. I spoil her so much that I feed her the dry small breed puppy mixed with the canned small breed puppy food twice a day. I have never had any problems with it and she seems to really like it. That said, I have heard a lot of good things on the site about the Royal Canin Mini Yorkshire food, so I am going to give it a whirl. No real reason except that it seems like it was geared for her..... |
ProPlan is an excellent food. We have a proplan distributor that comes to our Petco store all the time. I am feeding it to Memphis right now since it seems to be the only thing that he likes. Royal Canin is an excellent food and so is Natural Balance. A few others that are good are: Nutro Bill Jac the Bill Jac liver treats are really good. Memphis loves them |
I've kept my 5 month old on Pro Plan small breed puppy since that is what my breeder was using. I am using the same regime....grind in a blender then mix with a little syrup for breakfast, dry left out for free feed and skinless, boneless, boiled chicken breasts chopped up for dinner....he's doing good on it. Has syrup breath every morning! |
