Puppy to Adult Food? I'm feeding Porkie Royal Canin Mini 33 now and she's 10 months of age. At what age do you switch a Yorkie to adult food? |
When they turn 1 |
I'm not a believer in dog food, however I would not put your baby on adult dog food till at least 18 months of age. Their intestinal organs are not totally developed till then. Check out the INNOVA dog food. They have adult small bites and the dog food cannot be beat by any on the market. No fillers, grains, meals and such. |
My vet (and other members on this forum) told me to leave mine on puppy food forever... it has more nutrients than adult food. |

Thanks for the replies. :) I've never heard of leaving a dog on puppy food for their lifetime either. I'll ask my Vet and see what he thinks. |
