Other supplement than Missing Link? Do any of YTalkers use anything other than ML? I had the 8 oz bag for the past 3 months and it just expired, had to throw it out...I didn't even use half of it, even with daily mixing with regular food. Is there anything else I can try, pref available in stores? Mostly I'm concerned about improving the quality of coat. |
Have you talked with your vet about a good coat supplement? The other thought I have is, have you tried switching foods to see if there is a change in coat? With my cats and now with Gracie, I notice a big difference in coat depending on what kind of food I give them. |
Dr Fosters and Smith have Vitacaps which are the same thing as Missing link just in pill form. You have to order it online though. |

I also use Linatone in his food i mix it with his dry food and the missing link. I split the bag of Missing link with my friend so we wont have to throw out the rest that happened the first time i bough Missing link but this is pretty good and his coat is shy and no more dry skin i have to take a picture of his coat |
I also use Lanatone, get it from dog.com and love it. |
I use Solid Gold SeaMeal Powder. It looks like dried ground up seaweed. It lasts forever and I bought it at our local organic pet store. Here's the description Solid Gold Seameal contains 60 trace minerals, 12 vitamins, 22 amino acids, digestive enzymes, and flaxseed meal. It is excellent for animals with allergy problems and/or skin and coat problems. When Seameal is added to food, it increases the digestibility of the food. It is made with 19 different species of sea vegetation, an excellent source of nutrients. The addition of seaweed and kelp to an animal's diet can produce many great benefits. SeaMeal can help boost the immune, hormone, and enzyme systems of the body, restore lost hair growth, intensify coat color, and boost the immune system. |
