Smells like Trouble.. Smells Like Trouble May 12, 2005 If you plant a spring garden this year, keep curious canine noses away from tulip bulbs. Many common garden plants can cause illness in dogs when ingested in large enough quantities. Tulip and iris bulbs, which can be dug up easily by bored or curious pets, are particularly toxic.
